Getting Hands On in an Engineering Physics Class

Help me give my students materials for fun physics projects and to practice their math problems!

My Project

Whiteboards are so important in a math heavy class like physics, as it allows the students to practice the problems constantly. The whiteboards let me see what they're doing and correct misconceptions as they come up, so they can progress more quickly. We also are a pre-engineering course with a heavy focus on building projects. This means we need a lot of materials like popsicle sticks and hot glue.

Hands-on learning is really best for my population, which is over half special education students.
