This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are motivated students who come to school each day with a smile. They love to learn and apply their new knowledge. To help support and enrich their learning I'd like to request several items for upcoming holidays. I'd like to have books, decorations, crayons, and crafts for the New Year holiday. We'll talk about setting goals for the new year and start by using their new crayons and astrobrights cardstock to create a goal board for themselves. I'd also like books, crafts, and tiles for Valentine's Day. The tiles and Sharpies will be used to create a beautiful coaster for their parents as a gift. I'd like some books, gold coins, and crafts for St. Patrick's Day. These resources will add to the fun and integration of the arts for these holidays. Your support is greatly appreciated!
