Getting Faster, Stronger, And More Agile

My students need sport equipment such as two sets of agility poles, ten hurdles, four parachutes, and three agility ladders that will make them faster, stronger, and more agile.

My Students

I coach a high school soccer team. My athletes are very hard working young men who want to excel at soccer. My students need sport equipment such as agility poles, hurdles, and an agility ladder that will make them faster, stronger, and more agile.

Our public high school serves approximately 1700 students from a large military community.

Our student body represents a variety of cultural backgrounds and experiences. Many of our students come from economically disadvantaged homes and will change schools several times before completing high school. However some of these students find a sense of purpose and belonging on sport teams.

My Project

My athletes will be using the equipment to get faster, stronger, and more agile. They will learn the proper way to increase their running speed and foot speed with a soccer ball. Also, they will learn the proper way to quickly change speed and direction. The equipment will mostly be used prior to season to help us get in better physical shape. Which in the long run will make us more competitive.

Currently my athletes know we don't have everything we need in order to be as successful as we can and need to be.

They have sacrificed so much to get us to where we are. This project will help my athletes to become even more competitive with surrounding schools. It will also continue to teach them about hard work and perseverance which will follow them their entire life.
