My Students

My students are eager to learn but unfortunately, they do not have the full support to be able to thrive. They go through dramatic events both at home and school but they are special in their own way.

My students are in an urban, city neighborhood.

The school is a tier one school with a lot of the students having issues with their academics.

My Project

A lot of these items in this project are essential for my students. I work at a Title I Elementary School and a lot of my students are not able to come to school with the supplies needed. This project will help them with having basic supplies so they can enjoy their classroom experience with the rest of their peers without feeling like they are without. I don't want my students to show those kind of emotions anymore, I want to help them the most ways that I can. Most of the resources will help my students when they are taking notes, making models of lessons (science and social studies). The sensory items are for my students who have special needs and for incentives in class. The book bags are incentives for students along. The masks and wipes are in the project because even though the school is providing some, it’s good to have extras for the students and classroom. Thank you in advance for helping my students.
