This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach high school photography, publications/yearbook, and student council at a Title I school. My students are amazing! They are kind, caring, and inquisitive. My students come from very diverse backgrounds, and many have not had it easy.

All of my students are choosing to be part of the photography, yearbook, and student council classes.

I know that my students deserve to have an amazing photography, yearbook, and student council program. With your help, my students can have the photography, yearbook, and student council classes they deserve. Students gain so much from experiencing the arts and student leadership classes. Please help me give my students what they need to be successful.

My Project

We are asking for a sewing machine, cricut maker, heat press and sewing machine. My yearbook and student council students make a lot of things for our campus, and for everyone to wear. We are asking for these machines, so we can use them to make costumes, backdrops, and decorations for different school events.

By having these machines in our classroom, we can get creative instead of just ordering things off of amazon!

I would like my students to use their creative thinking skills, as well as problem solving skills.
