My first-grade kiddos are fabulous! Six and seven-year-olds get very creative and love to show off their skills. They are always excited to make things, and they love experiencing nature. I have asked for crafts for various holidays to do in class.
We recently moved into a new classroom with a large glass window.
I want to offer several nature viewing pieces to display in the window. I have asked for two birdhouses outside the window and a bird feeder; both have a clear back so the kids can watch nature in progress! We do a unit on life cycles, and these resources would allow my students to see the life cycle in real life.
I am so excited to be able to provide these learning experiences for students.
