While I am primarily the music teacher, I also teach 3 reading intervention classes each day. In these classes, we are doing book studies. My students are learning to love reading and they are becoming very excited about the novels we are reading.
Most students do not enjoy sitting in typical chairs or stools while reading.
I allow students to lay on the floor or lean against a wall while reading, if they prefer that. I try to provide some pillows and cushions for students, but I know they would love to have some pillows and cushions to enjoy relaxing while they read together.
