Help me give my students a cozy new rug to sit on while they do laptop research, read, or learn with me. I have arranged the desks to create the perfect space up front for this soft rug!
My fifth grade students learn best when they have flexible seating and they love to sit on the floor. I am gradually collecting an assortment of beanbags, cozy chairs and pillows to offer them more comfortable alternatives to traditional, hard classroom chairs.
Now, I seek to acquire a COZY 8FT SQUARE RUG to place front and center in our classroom.
This way, even students without beanbags or pillows can sit on a soft rug while they use their laptops to do science reasearch, practice their math facts, or read their favorite books. They can also sit on the rug when I project educational videos or interactive lessons.
I have rearranged my table groups to create a nice, open space for this rug. We can't wait! Thank you for helping my students get cozy on the floor!
