it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m so excited to be teaching third grade for the first time at a brand new school!
To help foster a love of reading, I’m hoping to create a cozy and inviting classroom library space.
A carpet will give students a comfortable spot to gather for read-alouds, small group work, or quiet independent reading time.
New, engaging books will help ensure every student finds something that sparks their interest and builds their confidence as readers. These resources will help make our classroom feel like a safe, welcoming space where students can grow, explore, and fall in love with reading.
