My Students
My second-grade class is filled with eager and kind students who are excited about learning.
My second-grade students are eager, active, and come to school excited each day.
The students enjoy having new and exciting incentives that help to motivate and accelerate their learning.
As a school with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch, many of my students are faced with several challenges at school and at home. As a teacher in a Title I school, I strive for and want the best for my students. Despite the many challenges my students face, I am looking to keep things positive and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My Project
The classroom carpet will benefit my students when they are learning. In second grade, the majority of whole group lessons are completed on the classroom carpet. Our current carpet is not big enough for students to sit comfortably while they are learning and using different tools on the carpet. With a larger classroom carpet, the students in my classroom will be able to sit comfortably without being crammed for space. The new carpet would alleviate some of the disputes between students over space on the classroom carpet. Students will be able to work with more space. As a teacher, the new classroom carpet will help me feel more comfortable with bringing my students to the carpet without worrying about students being uncomfortable.
