Help me give my students a flag ship where students will gather for most lessons, morning meetings, and read-alouds. These will help me create a smooth, welcoming environment for both teaching and learning!

My Project

As a first-year teacher, I’m excited to create a warm, welcoming classroom where students feel safe and ready to learn. A key piece of this vision is a large classroom rug—where we’ll gather daily for morning meetings, read-alouds, and lessons. This space will be the heart of our classroom, helping students stay engaged, focused, and comfortable. It will support community building, active participation, and shared learning. Starting with a blank slate, I’m working hard to create a classroom environment where every student can thrive, grow, and feel a true sense of belonging.
