My Project
Hello, I am an Occupational Therapist. The students I work with this year have special sensory, social and emotional challenges that impact their every day school participation while in their classrooms.
The goal this year is to improve our students ability to calm their minds and their bodies by providing them with as many sensory tools as they need!
Adaptations and environmental changes including flexible seating help promote student focus and self- regulation skills! We would like to provide our students with wiggle seats and wiggle chairs so they can have the opportunity to feel regulated and calm. Therefore, improving their overall focus to participate in classroom table top activities.
This equipment can have a positive impact on our students and we would greatly appreciate any support so we can help them! Thank you!
