My Project
This carpet will transform our classroom into an inviting and welcoming place. It will enhance our learning environment by having a space for students to comfortably gather for read-alouds, group discussions, math talks, and partner work. Students will each have their own designated spot, ensuring they feel part of the group.
By donating to this project, you are helping a first-year teacher create a special place in the classroom where students can share stories and learn from one another.
As a brand new teacher starting from scratch, my goal is to create a classroom environment where students enjoy coming each day. The addition of a carpet will create a warm and welcoming area for students to gather. I am excited to share this space with my first group of students.
Although I have not met my students yet, they are already so special to me. Our classroom will bring together students from different backgrounds and cultures. This project is more than just a carpet; it is about fostering community and providing a space where my students can grow.
