My Project
Hello! I am a Kindergarten teacher at a small, rural school in Arkansas. Teaching is my passion and I have been blessed with many amazing students throughout my 22-year career. I love when my students are fully engaged in our classroom lessons and this Reading Letter Library rug will give them a cozy, fun environment to learn!
Kindergarten is a busy place where routines and procedures are very important, so my goal for this project is to have it fully funded before the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year so we can enjoy our new rug for all of our learning activities starting on Day 1!
My students are special because they come from a variety of different backgrounds, both cultural and socioeconomic. We have a unique demographic, are a Title I school, and a large portion of our population speaks English as a second language. The diversity is so special and I love to see how my classroom becomes a FAMILY!
This rug will provide a comfortable and organized place for my students to learn! I am looking forward to gathering my students for story time, calendar, and many other fun and educational activities.
