My Project
The calm corner is a very important feature of my classroom. This is a safe space for my students to go when they are feeling upset or need a break from the classroom. This can also be a place for my students to go to relax and read a book of their choosing. I want my students to be comfortable in the calm corner. They can grow their love for reading stories, or practice important SEL skills needed to support their growth. These pillows will be loved and well taken care of by my sweet first graders!
