My Students
My students have always asked me why only the younger kids have a great rug to sit on....I never knew what to really say. Well, this year I'd love for them to come in snd see a beautiful rug! We are a title one school, 100% of our student body receives free breakfast and lunch.
Our classroom, their home away from home is the place I want to make as inviting and beautiful as I can.
I want my students to feel excited about their environment...it creates a loving, learning place to be!
My Project
The rug that I am requesting will provide my students an alternative area to sit and learn. We currently sit on a hard, cold, tiled floor. We need an inviting area where we can go to sit, learn, and collaborate. I'd love to be able to create this Cozy corner with your help, so all my students will feel as if they are not in school...as if they are laying down, sitting with a friend, and just enjoy learning. We would love to be able to have the luxury of sitting area choices. Sitting in a hard chair makes us sad.
