Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students I get to work with on a daily basis are full of life and tell plenty of jokes. We love to have fun and make our learning that way too!
Our favorite part about learning is learning about each other.
Every day we talk in the morning about our lives and there is always a great connection among students and myself. We respect each other and want success for one another.
These students are eager and willing to try just about anything in the name of fun and learning. This group is truly amazing and continue to work hard for their education.
My Project
We are in need of whiteboards, markers, erasers, and cleaner to maintain advanced learning in our classroom. We have had the privilege to use laptop computers 5 days a week, and almost for every subject. We have reduced the amount of paperwork in our classroom and noticed a positive dramatic effect.
In an all technology elementary classroom, part of our goal is to become efficient and paperless.
We have achieved so much of that goal already. However we are still in need of a few supplies to keep the dream alive! We are ready to use whiteboards in order to continue to reduce our use of paper and work at a higher level of learning when working on math assignments especially.
