This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
THANK YOU for being willing to help our 6th grade students in Bushwick (Brooklyn, NY). Our students are new to middle school and often new to this country. All of them are learning English. But our school can be noisy and kids are easily distracted.
Having a classroom equipped with headphones with microphones will greatly enhance their education by helping them focus, concentrate, listen more closely and even improve their speech when using apps like DuoLingo.
We will also use this donation to enforce our classroom community culture by choosing different students to be responsible for their distribution, storage and maintenance. This small improvement will make a WORLD of difference in 21st century learning skills!
