Our students are movers and shakers! They like to play AND they want to have organized games! For them, P.E. Is a place where they are encouraged to get up and run.
We want to give our students new scooters, futsal balls, and yoga dice moves to encourage new techniques of what it means to play.
Our scooters are in poor shape after many years of usage. They are bent, cracked, and have loose wheels. Regular soccer balls do not work well in the gym as they fly across the room and hit unsuspecting kids. Futsal balls are weighed down with sand. They move slower, giving the kids an opportunity to think about their next move, work their muscles, and not have so many accidents! The yoga dice will help us teach our kinder kids the benefits of yoga movement as the order keeps changing based on what they roll!
