This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There are 18 very active preschoolers in my Early Childhood program. They love to play outdoors but need more equipment to develop their gross motor and social skills.
What better way to develop gross motor and social skills than with equipment that stimulates the students desire to learn naturally through play.
The soccer goals/ball and hopscotch board will allow the students to increase their ability to socially interact with each other in appropriate ways while learning to play new games and develop their gross motor skills. The trike will help with turn taking and gross motor development while having fun riding around the playground.
