My Students

Welcome to Ms. Simpson's Stampede! I teach at an amazing Title I school in Phoenix, Arizona. I am so lucky to have an amazing, smart, energetic group of 30 first graders. My students are eager to learn new things and succeed. We take pride in all of our hard work and we have fun while doing it!

My students come from many different backgrounds, cultures, and neighborhoods!

Our classroom is a place where students can work together to solve problems, make new friends and enjoy school! We have established a strong first-grade family and a safe place where all are welcome, excited to learn, try new things, and work hard to achieve their goals. We engage in lots of hands-on, engaging, and cooperative learning activities to keep us eager and motivated to learn. Every day is a new adventure with Ms. Simpson's Stampede and I love watching them grow while we laugh, learn, and have fun together!

My Project

Professional Development, reflection, and collaboration are key components to help grow, inspire and enlighten educators. At the Get Your Teach On National conference, I will get to learn from expert educators as they share their passion and enthusiasm for education by sharing their tips, tricks, best practices, and teacher secrets to building a successful and engaging classroom. I will be able to participate in hands-on sessions in all academic areas.

An educator's journey is never over!

We are always eager to learn new ideas, recharge our passion and teach every day being the best educator we can be! I am confident that the ideas and strategies learned during this four-day conference will not only impact next years students but students for years to come. My wish is to leave feeling empowered, motivated and prepared to create dynamic lessons that will challenge, inspire and motivate each and every one of my students.
