My Students

We are a school where students and parents choose to be part of this school & adventure. We strive to stay on the frontier of education. Not only do we want to teach our students, but we want to inspire them. I have 22 students who are coming from across the district. My students come from different backgrounds, have a variety of interests, and various personalities.

These students come to school eager to learn, and know they are entering a safe environment where they are free to take risks.

However, like most students, they need a creative push to get them excited about learning. They love music, dancing in the classroom, and learning through technology. My students have a growth mindset and are learning to persevere when things become difficult. I believe that Get Your Teach On will give me, as an educator, that extra push that I can pass on to my students.

My Project

A team of teachers from my school would like to attend this professional development opportunity together. This opportunity will enhance our school culture while providing rigor, relevance, and student engagement for all subjects and all grades. This project will help inspire each of us to take our lessons to the next level. We will work to create more engaging lessons that are inspirational. We want to create magic! This professional development opportunity will change the way education looks and sounds and it will make my elementary school an even more exciting place to learn and grow. Our school will be a place that students are exited to attend each and every day.
