Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning can happen in many forms. Classes usually learn together as a whole group but independent learning is equally vital. My students have grown substantially by listening to books on their Chromebooks, having access to controlled noise rather than overstimulating out-roar, and challenge themselves by picking up a physical book by reading with a peer. When our class is not learning as a whole, they will have the resources to continue to learn independently. With your help, my students will be able to utilize the headphones during math, reading, and will help the ESL students within my class. Our class has 20 year old headphones and only a handful of books.
More than half of students from low‑income households
