Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are using an amazing play-based learning curriculum for our pre-kindergartners that builds their confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills through hands-on, project-based activities, and outdoor learning.
As we introduce this exciting yet vital learning block, I do recognize the critical need for a vibrant, well-equipped space.
We have the perfect courtyard right outside our three pre-k classrooms but does lack equipment and materials.
I am hoping all of our pre-k students have an outstanding learning experience by using materials such as a balance beam, stepping stones, a soccer net, foam volleyball set, bean bags toss kit. These materials will be more than just sources of enjoyment—they will serve as essential tools for growth.
