My Project
I have found that when students come to the Media Center to select books, they are looking for books that are both visually appealing and entertaining. It is tough to get them to decide to read for pleasure with the distractions they now face with technology and social media. The Graphic Novels are books that students regularly ask for, as they find them topical and entertaining. The Who Was, Where Was series meets both visually appealing and entertaining while slipping in history and facts that students don't typically seek out while selecting books,
