We need sets of liquid acrylic in assorted colors, as well as rice paper and newsprint in order for my 3 sections of Art class to successfully use our Gelli printing plates. This is a versatile and fun new media that my high school Art students will enjoy. Students will experiment and learn from trial and error. They'll build creativity and confidence as they layer stenciled and stamped colors, producing hundreds of monoprints to use for making books, collages, crafts, and paper sculpture.
Our teens hunger for opportunities to tap into their creativity and Gelli printing is a great way to do that.
