My Students

Welcome to our kindergarten class! Like most kindergarten classes, we are made up of students with varying abilities and diverse needs. Our class is unique as it combines regular education students with those who have special needs. We strive to make learning meaningful and fun by offering a variety of instructional materials.

Our students participate in hands-on learning experiences to practice and master academic as well as social skills.

It is our goal to foster a love for learning and others in every child as we assist and support them to reach their maximum potential. Thank you for supporting our classroom needs and our future generation!

My Project

Because our class is an inclusion classroom, combining regular ed students with those who have special needs, we spend most of our day teaching children in small groups. The groups are created and instructed based on their individual strengths and weaknesses. Groups who are not working with teachers are completing activities and working in areas independently. One of those areas is a listening station where children get to hold a book while listening to the story. This has always been one of their favorite things to do. Recently, our CD player just quit working! The children my classroom ask me daily when we are going to get a new CD player! So, I'm reaching out to the generous donors, asking for your help! I also would like to add more wonderful stories to our listening library. In a world where children are inundated with electronics and technology, it is vital that they are given the opportunity to hold a book in their hand while listening to a wonderful story. Thank you so much for considering our classroom project. We greatly appreciate your support!
