My students need a back to school math package to be successful. These packs will include pencils & an Electric Pencil Sharpener, pens, highlighters, erasers, sticky notes, and composition notebooks.
"Success is where preparation and where opportunity meet."
~Bobby Unser
My students come to school everyday eager to learn. As their teacher, I feel it's my responsibility to create a safe, nurturing, and fun class so they are engaged in every lesson.
With standardized testing and the constant pressure of fitting in at middle school school, the last thing students need to do is wonder if they will have the supplies to be successful!
Our challenge is to remain motivated throughout the year, and new school supplies always help!
My Project
Each student in my class needs a math supply pack. Each September my students are given a supply list. Few students bring the necessary supplies during the first week of school. Being unprepared hinders the learning of the student. These packs will include pencils & an Electric Pencil Sharpener, pens, highlighters, erasers, sticky notes, and composition notebooks. My students use these tools as part of their daily learning. Providing each student on the first day of school with a math pack will avoid the delay in the beginning of the year learning process. No student should worry about not having supplies.
With your help we will be able to jump into learning on day one.
By donating to this project, students will have all necessary supplies to start the year off. Classroom instruction will not be interrupted with the, "I don't have a pencil." All students need these supplies to enrich their learning. Students will not be embarrassed about not having the required materials. If I am able to offer materials, students should have no excuse for being unprepared. Preparedness leads to success.
