My Project
When students can use real items to represent the math they are learning, the numbers make more sense and solidify the knowledge in their brains. My students all have learning differences and need multiple means of representation to help them understand important core concepts.

The calm strips are simple, non-distracting ways to help students remain focused while learning. The interesting texture gives students the sensory input they need to help them remain positive and less anxious when challenged with new knowledge.
