My Students

Are you a visual learner? How about an audio learner? Do you like to find humor in learning too? We do, but we don't have a subscription to Brainpop!

My third grade students attend school at a third through fifth grade building in a small to mid-sized district in rural Southwest Michigan.

I teach reading and we love learning about our language in many different ways. My third graders are enthusiastic and excited about beginning their new learning adventure as they move up to the 3rd-5th grade building this year!

My Project

I am asking for a year long subscription to the website Brainpop and Brainpopjr. Those sites provide short, fun video clips featuring kid characters and their robot friend, Moby. The video clips are extremely informative and to the point and would make our learning incredibly interactive. I also love that each video clip has corresponding vocabulary words, activities, and even quizzes to check students' learning.

Because all students learn differently, this is an excellent opportunity for my visual and auditory learners to be engaged in a new way in the classroom... not to mention it is super fun and all students can enjoy it.
