Our school is in a poverty urban area with many students that need motivation to become active.
Students don't ride their bikes after school anymore due to crime problems in the area. With obesity rates on the rise, as educators, we need to find new ways to motivate our students.
My Project
I want to be able to introduce my fitness students to new activities. Many of these activities such as step aerobics and kickboxing can become very tedious without the use of music. I plan on teaching many new workout routines with the help of this donation.
I am sure that the donation of an IPOD to my fitness class is going to make a huge impact!
Students will be motivated to move and in the long run will be impact their lives forever. They will become life long lovers of movement.
