Help me give my students class sets of books such as Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, Bud, Not Buddy, and more for engaging, inspiring, and adventurous novel studies.
These books will be used for novel studies and read-alouds. Novel studies foster deeper engagement with literature, enhance critical thinking and comprehension, build stamina, expand vocabulary and language skills, and promote richer discussion and reflection.
They will encourage my 5th graders to see the world through different lenses, build empathy towards others, and help them continue to grow in their ongoing understanding of other cultures, diversity, and inclusion.
Any donations received will foster a strong, caring classroom community, which is integral to becoming the compassionate leaders and citizens that I know my students can be.
