My Project
Spring semester can be a challenge as classroom supplies run low and students' energy hits a speed bump. The art classroom is no exception, as students arrive to class overwhelmed by testing and major projects. As a seasoned teacher, I know nothing is as exciting as opening brand new art supplies. What a surprise it would be if we didn't have to wait until the next back to school season!
Crayola brand colored pencils are always a classroom favorite, and with such a wide variety of color collections, students are sure to find fresh inspiration for a new project!
Many of our families cannot afford to purchase new supplies throughout the school year or to purchase more than just the basics. By the spring, my school budget is spent, but I want to continue to challenge and motivate my classes to finish strong.
It's no surprise that the art of coloring has the power to lift the spirit, reduce stress, and encourage mindfulness. I know my students will love experimenting with the Colors of the World and Colors of Kindness Collections. These rich skin tones and lush pastels will be a perfect accompaniment to our Spring figure and life drawing units. Please help me to give my students a second wind and a breath of fresh air as they create joyful work inspired by the bright skies and fresh blooms of Spring!
