I am a first grade teacher at a rural public school district in Oklahoma.
I have twenty, six and seven year old students in my class. My students are very excited about learning and love practicing newly learned skills. My students come from many diverse ethnic backgrounds and languages.
My Project
My students need black and color printing ink cartridges and card stock so that they can print out their work. My students create their own writings, books and news pages. My students are able to share their writings at home with their parents and peers.
Our school district has been faced with so many state and federal cut backs that we are only allowed a small amount of money to spend on our classroom.
