This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When babies are born, we can't wait for them to learn to walk. Then we proceed to tell them to sit still and be quiet. But, the truth is, kids need to move in order to learn.
I would like to create a classroom where movement is encouraged and students have an outlet for their pent up energy.
By creating a space where my students can jump, crawl, and touch, the classroom becomes a welcoming place where all of my students' needs can be met. Small children are not meant to be still. By creating a space where movement is not only allowed, by encouraged, students can learn and grow.
