This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My soon to be second grade students will be walking through the door into our classroom in September. I want them to fall in love with learning and all be able to grow as learners.
I will have 28 students this fall in an ICT classroom.
All of the are a lively, imaginative, and energetic group with a range of interests. My school is a safe community that fosters collaboration amongst students along with teachers and their families.
My Project
I need these materials to provide my students with an engaging way to reading with listening to audio books using the headphones. The headphones that I'm requesting will allow of the students in my classroom to have access to reading by using audio books or other programs. They will help my students fall in love with reading! I need the bins to organize my classroom library and make it accessible for all of my students to use. I want my classroom library to be able to be accessed and used by all of my students. These bins will allow me to organize and clearly label my classroom library. These materials will help my students become life long learners.
These donations will help my students become engaged in reading.
These materials will allow my students to become excited about reading and to have access to it in different ways. Many of the students coming into my room have an IEP or are ESL these materials will help provide them with access to the curriculum.
