My Students

I teach 50 third graders in a school that has around 550 students. Our school houses students that consider themselves independent learners. My students are extremely hard-working, attentive, and accountable for their own learning. With over 15 years of teaching experience I have devoted my career to students' success.

We learn from each other, and use our background knowledge to make the best of our culturally diverse learning experiences.

Our wide range of diversity makes us unique. My students are constantly learning new things from their classmates, teachers, and community.

My Project

With an up-to-date desktop my students will be able to keep up with growing demands of technology. I plan to use this desktop with my 48 inch TV monitor.

Very seldom do I teach in a whole class setting, so with this newer desktop my students can conduct student driven learning.

Our discussions and activities often happen at different paces, so I take advantage of separating the kids into groups 80% of the day.

Having this desktop linked to the TV monitor will allow multiple students see the display without causing time lost in the lesson. Due to the diversity of our classroom this tool would allow differentiated instruction to happen more naturally, that in-turn leading to better self confidence and success.
