Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am fortunate to have a great group of kids in my PE classes this year. They enjoy being active and interacting with other students in an athletic setting.
My students want to be able to have a great experience in my PE class and learn about the importance of being physically active.
I hope they can develop good habits now that will benefit them throughout their life. I have wonderful students and I want them to have the best PE experience possible.
My Project
The PE students at BLHS deserve to have proper equipment to use daily. Most of the equipment we use is patched up and outdated. I believe having this new equipment will help the students become better engaged in the class and with their peers.
With this new equipment such as kickballs, basketballs and volleyballs, the students will have a chance to get the full experience PE has to offer them.
It will also help us (the entire faculty within the PE department) better serve our students as we prepare them for life after high school as it pertains to physical health and well being.
