Help me give my students the chance for some hands-on biology with these basic lab supplies.

My Students
My students range in age from freshmen to seniors. We are a rural school district where the students love learning about all the different fields of science. I try to keep my class up to date, interesting, and engaging to encourage maximum participation. My students respond best to real science, current events, and how it applies to them.
My Project
My students might forget definitions or theoretical concepts but one thing that they never seem to forget are the lab days. My students love doing labs and every year I try to do more than the year before.
Hands-on learning is imperative to the study of life sciences and hot plates are one of the basic lab supplies that students should be experienced with before they move on to upper level sciences.
I teach biology, anatomy/physiology, botany, zoology, ecology, meteorology, and p.e. I teach at a small school with a limited budget. These hot plates will be a start to building a better lab inventory.
