Get Cozy With a Great Book!

Help me give my students rich literature about science and the world around us. I will create a cozy area in my classroom for kids to get comfortable and read a wonderful nonfiction book.

My Project

My school is a Title 1 school with limited money for extras. I try to visit thrift stores and garage sales to add to my class library as often as I can. I would love help, adding NEW rich literature to my classroom library. My classroom library is a place that my students really love and utilize. I read to my students, they read to themselves, they read with a partner, etc....lots of reading takes place in our classroom! I want them to have a nice, cozy area to do that.

Creating an inviting library area with rich literature will encourage more reading to take place.

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more while making it fun and cozy. Adding these books and having the items to create the area will help with their growing reading levels. I love escaping into a new book in a cozy area and I want the same for my students. Thank you for helping me make that happen for my sweet students.
