My Students

I have a wonderful group of 4-year-old and 5-year-old students in my class. This is my first year teaching a TK/ Kinder combination class. I love the smiles they bring to our distant learning zoom classes every day! Most of my students are learning English as a second language, making their first year in school a little more challenging. All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch and Second Harvest Food Bank comes to our school each month to bring healthy fruits and vegetables to them.

My Project

When we come back to our classroom, I want to create an inviting atmosphere. Many of my students have never been in a classroom. It is going to be new for them and they will need to adjust. One way I can help them adjust if by giving them choices as to where they would like to work.

In this proposal, I am asking for 4 Comfy Seats and 2 Comfy Beanbags which will give my students an option when they are working.

I want them to be comfortable so they can learn and focus on their work. These seats and beanbags will give my students a sense of comfort as they come to school for the very first time. Will you help make my students comfortable while they learn? Thank you!
