My students need engaging reading material! The scholastic workbook looks fabulous. A great way to keep my students engaged while they sit on their ball and something they can take home and read!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second graders are energetic and eager to learn new things! I want to show them that by working hard and learning new things they can be successful in life too.
"Learn as though you would
never be able to master it;
hold it as though you would be in fear of loosing it."
Confucius
Our school is a title 1 school with 100% free breakfast and lunch.
I want to be able to give my students the best education.
My Project
My students need seating alternatives. Allowing my students a different seating option other than just the carpet or chair will be amazing! It's hard to concentrate when you are uncomfortable. Often times my students are hunched over at their desks and then complain later that their back hurts. By using the balance ball students will be able to have better posture, stretch, exercise their core and focus more on their work.
The scholastic magazine workbook looks amazing!
The workbook will be a great shared reading tool as well as a great resource for them to read on their own or with their partner. They will learn a tremendous amount of information about plants and animals.
