This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a very inquisitive and excited bunch of students. The students will create a layered gesture drawing.
They will explore the human figure and the correct proportions. They will be experimenting with materials and composition. They will pick a color scheme, color their paper with pastels, and blend them together. They will create a focal point by emphasizes figures, adding detail and other material. They will need to push other figures back in space by blending them in slightly, overlapping other materials. Finally, they will consider experimenting with paint splatter, negative space, and other materials.
