My Students
I teach in a high poverty school, with the large majority of my students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. I am a special education resource teacher, serving students in both 3rd and 4th grade. I currently work with 20 students with up to 10 in my classroom at a time.
My students are kind, enthusiastic, and very hard workers.
In order for them to continue to make progress, I need to meet their learning needs. The students in my classroom are very motivated by the use of technology and I am always looking for new ways to involve technology in our daily routine. However, due to a lack of funding, I am not always able to supply them with the resources or supplies that we need.
My Project
As we return to in-person learning soon, I am trying to think of ways to keep my students safe while in school.
The cleaning supplies and air purifier will be used in my classroom to ensure that my students have a safe space for learning.
I don't want any of my students or parents to worry about whether or not the classroom is clean. With these supplies, I will be able to clean materials frequently so that we are all staying safe while in the school building. The air purifier will help me to not only have clean desks and materials, but also clean air for my students.
