Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We would greatly appreciate any support this is a big year where students need to pass the math MCAS to graduate!
This year will be my first year teaching 10th grade Geometry.
I moved to a new classroom and need materials such as a printer to make printouts readily accessible to students ( we do not currently have textbooks to rely on and will depend heavily on handouts). Also as a class, we need rulers, folders, and compasses/protractors in order to complete constructions using straightedge and points.
My students are predominantly Latinx and African American students and more than half come from low-income households let's give them a chance to have a successful and interactive math class.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
