This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember your teacher not having enough supplies for the whole class? This is what my students face everyday.
My students attend a 100% free or reduced lunch School.
They are 1st- 5th graders who want to learn math in different ways, but we lack funds to purchase the resources to help them learn through using manipulatives and learning games that can enhance their learning. I would like to do everything I can do to help my students achieve their maximum potential.
My Project
The chalkboard/white board protractor and the overhead pieces would help me model the activity for my students and let my students come up and model for each other . The individual protractors would provided my students with the resources they need to practice at their seats or use on an exam. The math center activities and games would help peak student interest and make math exciting.
In our struggling economic times, our students are faced with many challenges within our schools.
I work in a disadvantaged urban community where we don't have the supplies necessary to help our students reach their full potential, therefore the students are falling behind and are less motivated to learn. Donations to this request will help these students become more focused on learning while having fun. Thank you for you consideration to my request.
