This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to learn math using hands on tools, that help them explore and construct understanding!
My students will use rulers, protractors, and triangular rulers to precisely and accurately measure, construct, draw and explore various geometric shapes to understand the foundations of area, surface area, and volume.
These materials will ensures students have the tools needed to understand the concepts taught, and be able to measure, create, draw and explore to understand the concepts being taught. Each student will have their own materials to work with during our lessons.
