Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through hands on learning, the use of construction materials supports students not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. By integrating physical engagement into the learning process in my geometry class, I am able to create opportunities for my students to learn in a holistic and impactful way.
Using the compass in creating designs which are realistic and original, my students feel confident of their learnings.
Hands on activities like this maximize engagement and raise student's voice through ideas shared within the structured groupings I made.
The construction materials I have requested would greatly support my special population students as well as those kinesthetic learners in my classroom.
