Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When my students walk into the classroom, there are rows of desks and chairs. There is no variety! I am looking for alternative seating options, which means I would like to provide my students with choices of how and where they would like to sit, and keep them engaged while seated.
Comfy seating is ideal for reading, research, collaborating and more!
Please help me give my students this comfortable, eye-catching carpet. The world’s seven continents and its oceans are represented…there’s even a compass rose to help students begin exploring the concept of direction.
Third grade will introduce my students to a whole new world of fascinating subjects! My third graders will use this carpet as a learning tool. Students will know how to read world maps and be able to find locations on the globe.
