Help me give my students a basic STEM opportunity with a coding robot and magnetic shapes to allow my students to think and build like engineers.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. B.'s classroom raised $510
This project is fully funded
My Students
We are challenged with various behavior issues, so small groups are often used to deflect difficult behaviors and maximize on learning in our classroom.
My students deserve to be prepared to compete with their peers in today’s society.
They are ready and eager to learn new information everyday and I would like to be able to provide them with many hands-on and relevant learning experiences.
My students come from a community that is unable to provide current science, technology engineering and mathematics learning tools. We are located in Washington, DC and struggle with substantial, group achievement gaps. A STEM center in our classroom would aid us in bridging the gap through rigor and lots of practice. My class would strongly benefit from having daily access to modern STEM items.
My Project
My students are small gems of our community and I want to give them every opportunity to experience science on a higher level. They deserve the opportunity to think and create like their peers across the nation.
If you choose our project, you will be personally responsible for influencing some of the youngest learners in this fast moving world of science and mathematics.
The students will be allowed to create in the STEM center everyday, during small groups. Students will demonstrate their learning by creating a project at the end of the school year for parents, school mates and friends.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
